LinkUSystems, Inc. has redesigned its program called LEAP (Learn. Experience. Acquire. Prepare.). This program allows a recent graduate, student or other person interested in online marketing, social media, sales, advertising, web design, graphic design, or web development and its related fields to obtain real world experience in order to build their resume.

NOW HIRING: [SUMMER INTERNSHIP] Online Marketing Intern

The interactive team at LUS Web Design is looking to hire an intern. They would work closely with the expects of our online marketing team in assisting them to launch and manage a variety of online programs for our clients. Day-to-day tasks include online research, e-mail newsletters, creating reports, performing website modifications, development of SEO and/or PPC campaigns and much more. This is a great learning opportunity and could help someone begin his or her career in online marketing.

Duties Include:

- Working with our marketing team to create newsletters, email campaigns, online promotions, etc.
- Provide support to our clients social media efforts to target new audiences.
- Assist with trade shows and local events to promote company and online marketing education.
- Collaborate on team presentations for management and clients.
- Online research on clients industries and competitors.
- Perform website and graphic modifications for increased conversions and usability.
- Assist in the implementation, maintenance and development of SEO and/or PPC campaigns for clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Dreamweaver or similar software is required.
  • Experience with Word, Excel and Outlook recommended.
  • Working knowledge of CSS and HTML is required.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Pursuing a degree or certification in Web Design, Advertising, Marketing or any related field.
  • Possess creativity, flexibility, variety, and growth potential.
  • Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable.

If unpaid internship, you must:

  • Currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
  • Be eligible to receive college credit.
  • Hold at least a junior status.

Pay:

Paid Intership $8/hr.-$9/hr. / 15-20 Hours a Week (Hours vary M-F ranging between 8am-5pm)

Time Period:

Temporary position, 4 month internship (or length required by school to earn credits).
